Every computer eventually starts running slower and may no longer meet our expectations. Instead of buying new hardware, upgrading your current setup can often be enough.
Upgrading RAM
If your computer struggles with multitasking and applications run slowly, upgrading the RAM can significantly improve its performance. For everyday tasks, at least 8GB of RAM is recommended, while advanced applications and games may benefit from 16GB or more.
To check how many available RAM slots your computer has and if it supports more RAM, refer to its technical specifications. Then, purchase compatible RAM modules and install them according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Replacing Your Hard Drive with an SSD
If your computer takes a long time to boot up and has trouble accessing files quickly, replacing the traditional hard drive (HDD) with a solid-state drive (SSD) can bring significant improvements.
Buy an SSD with appropriate storage capacity. You can clone your current drive to the new SSD using specialized software, and then install the new drive in your computer.
Upgrading Your Graphics Card
If you play computer games or work with graphic and video applications, and your current graphics card doesn’t meet the requirements, upgrading it can greatly enhance performance.
Check which graphics cards are compatible with your computer, taking connectors and power requirements into account. Then, purchase a new card and install it in the appropriate slot (see what graphics cards we offer).
Upgrading the Processor (CPU)
If your computer struggles with running multiple applications simultaneously or with advanced tasks such as video rendering, upgrading the processor could be a solution.
Check which processors are compatible with your motherboard. Upgrading the processor may also require replacing the motherboard and other components.
Summary
Upgrading your computer is a great way to extend its lifespan and improve performance without having to buy a new device. Remember to carefully check the compatibility of new components with your current setup, and always follow the manufacturer's instructions. This way, your investments will yield the expected results.
